Robert the Bruce played a crucial role inĀ Braveheart. His betrayal of William Wallace represented the difficult decisions made by noble Scotsmen was a pivotal turning point in the film. Robert the Bruce became Robert I King of Scotland after he defeated English forces at Barrockburn.
